I don't know what I would do without Community Front Room now; it is an oasis of calm, a beacon of hope, and no matter how you are feeling, you will be welcome here.
Sometimes, just having a cup of tea with someone is all you need - a chat with people who have 'been there'; or just space to sit quietly, knowing you are safe. But it's there for times of crisis too.
Hands reach out to hold you when you feel as if you are falling. Hope, acceptance, safety, and empathy sum up the Community Front Room... Please don't hesitate to come; it is there for YOU too.

If you feel you are reaching a crisis point with your mental health and need support with your well-being, the Community Front Room is here for you.
The Community Front Room is a safe and welcoming space where you
can speak to our compassionate and friendly mental health and peer specialist staff.
No referral is required. Just turn up and ring the bell during opening hours. We also offer telephone and Attend Anywhere virtual support if you're unable to come to us.

Community Front Room Feedback
We welcome adults from all walks of life to Harmony’s Community Front Room and these are their messages of thanks, personal stories and encouragement.
Entering the CFR feels as if you’re being enfolded within the arms of compassion and acceptance; and, when you leave, hope walks beside you.
And the CFR gives us the precious gifts of acceptance and safety which allow us to ‘just be’.
Whatever they’re going through, the CRF is there: when I enter the building, I feel as if I’m being enfolded in a warm embrace; the kettle’s always on, and care and compassion emanate from everyone there.
At the CFR I am accepted and valued just as I am in that moment, and I know I can stay for as long as I want or need to, during the lengthy opening hours... There’s no “Sorry, your time is up” at the CFR!
A huge Thank You to all the amazing people who work there; I really don’t know what I’d do without you.
If I could, I’d nominate every member of the CFR Team for an award! I have a long history of multiple and complex mental health diagnoses, the combination of which makes almost every aspect of daily life extremely challenging.
So, when I’m feeling overwhelmed and struggling with my emotions, support from people who know me, who really care, empathise, encourage, and have time for me, is invaluable. And I’m so fortunate to have that support from the members of the Bridport CFR Team. Their endless patience and the care that they show toward me is precious beyond words; they hold the hope for me that things can change, even when my own hope is fading.
Because of them I feel I can carry on.
